After completing a residential treatment program, women in recovery from alcohol or drug addiction may live in Brattleboro for three to 24 months at Phoenix House RISE (Recovery in an Independent, Sober Environment), a transitional living environment. RISE residents live and work in a healing atmosphere where women help one another rebuild trust, dignity, and hope. The program, which provides case management, counseling, and group therapy, is open to those who need additional support while transitioning into the community. All clients are expected to pay a modest weekly rent.
